Inverbroom to Gave, thence Inverness. Scotland
31st May 2018. 10°-14°
The day started with a vicious climb from Forest Way B&B and Bunkhouse back up to the A835 and the entrance to the Corrieshaloch Gorge.

Megan & I had visited the Gorge in 1974 and were very much taken with it. When we moved to the farm in Tamworth we had some horses and we called one Corrie.

We spent an hour exploring the Gorge and then headed back to the A835 and headed for Garve. It was a fairly flat run along Loch Droma and then Loch Grascarnoch.

Loch Grascarnoch is a man made reservoir with a large dam at the eastern end and is part of the Conon hydro electric system.

On arrival in Gave we were concerned that the road was getting a bit busy and would only get worse as we approached Inverness so we deciced to catch the train the final 25 miles into town.
