The final shot was looking back to the north with the Cairngorms in the background. On seeing the size of the storm building up we decided it was time to head for the camping area and get our tents up before the rain came in

There was cold misty spitting rainy weather as we road through Kingussie.

It was a pretty little grey stone village, apart from the bright blue Haddock Bay Fish & Chip shop, but we couldn't afford to slow down and it was soon behind us as we headed for Newtonmore...
