Today we reluctantly leave Auxerre and head for the Loire river to continue our journey across France. Three weeks from now we will be catching up with Christian's daughter and Wendy's host sister Claire.

From Christians we headed up to the ring road and circled around the city to the south till we got to the river.

We headed south along the Yonne River which we followed down to Mailley la Ville where we headed up into the hills towards towards Vezelay.

It became quite hilly
