Unfortunately Megan did her back in and was incapacitated for nearly six months. Luckily for Neil, Megan was well enough for him to head over and catch up with Wendy for most of the Scottish leg as well.

Neil flew to Zurich, stayed with Kimberley for a few days where we were stashing various items of unused gear for different stages of our tour. Then flew to Edinburgh, stayed overnight and then caught the train down to Milngavie and stayed at Geraldine's place overnight, assembled his bicycle and the next morning rode back into Milngavie and caught the train to Edinburgh, Inverness & Khyle of Lochalsh. He was to meet Wendy the next day about 20kms up the road.

From therethey were to ride around the coast to Ullapool and then curve back down to Inverness. From there they meandered down through the centre of Scotland back to Milngavie. There they packed up their bicycles and caught the train to Edinburgh and flew to Zurich and Chez Kimberley.

Wendy was a bit off colour so they rested up there for a few days and then headed off on their two month journey to St Malo.

From there Wendy headed for Switzerland and some big hills to ride and Neil hired a car and headed down to Nimes to catch up with Lyndell and then back to Paris for a few days before driving back to St.Malo, return the car and catch a train back to the airport and fly home.
