Hi meeg,
Sitting up in bed in Konstanz, nearly 5am, bit like a YHA , hanging for a cup of tea. Nick & Kim & John arrived safely, John is a real cutey, always taking off exploring, happy to be chaperoned by us also. Train trip was a great entree to the next few months. Spring is such a magic time in Europe, everything is so brightly coloured , quaint little villages, snow capped mountains in the background, getting excited now. We bought SIM cards yesterday, they don't seem to do anything but come with 2 twenty page booklets in German so we may be missing something in the setup. There is no mention of Dover anywhere.
Better go now as I am trying to publish the late edition of the blog. However as I just tried to post this I lost the Internet, again. And the last few sentences, ooh it's back cu
I, as usual, was up early and went for a walk around the town. Slideshow.
Some hours later, all was packed, small boy was encaged and we were ready to go. Slideshow.
