The rain caught up with us again and we packed our tents wet, donned wet weather gear and rode to the station and caught a train up into the mountains to Berchtesgaden

We managed to get a room in a hotel near the station. We unpacked our wet camping gear and hung it allover the hotel room, turned on all the heaters and went out. To avoid the rain we booked a tour of the salt mines for the afternoon. We filled in the time till it started in the local hot spring.
