Zell-am See to Bad Reichenall and then train to Seekirchen am Wallersea

28th May 2016

Slideshow

The day dawned cloudy and foggy and we headed off into Berchtesgaden National Park in full wet weather gear.

The higher we got into the hills the clearer the day became. It ended up being a beautiful days ride with magnificent views.

We stopped for lunch beside a river and watched a kayak slalom competition. Every rock outcrop was manned with a wet-suited roped-in rescuer, every other river in Europe was in flood so this one probably was also.

We arrived in the spa town of Bad Reichenall mid afternoon and organisd a train trip to get us through Salzburg and out the other side to Seekirchen am Wallersea to stay the night.
