Day One

Red Rock to Diggers Camp

The camping area is on the south bank of the Corindi River, The plan for today is to walk up the beach from Red Rock to Diggers camp, north of Wooli.

The only problem is the Corindi River and the Wooli Wooli River, both of which require prior organisation of a local to ferry you across. Needless to say Wendy had organised this well in advance. Co-ordination of the two crossings with tidal flows at the mouth of the two rivers resulted in a very early start to the day.
