Yuraygir Walk

Day One

Red Rock to Boorkooom Camping Ground (happy now).

The headland is known as Wilsons Headland, it is about halfway between Wooli and Minniewater.

Once we had set up camp I went for a walk along tomorrows planned route as far as the southern end of the beach on which Minniewater is situated. The photos from this walk will appear in tomorrow's story as if they were taken then. Astute people amongst you may question why the sun is in the west in an early morning walk but you may put it down to the alignment of the beaches.

The southerly yellow line from the campground is where I rode down to the southern most tip of the headland for a sweeping view of the beach clear through to Wooli.

No sign of the girls.

Had they made the connection with the boatman at Wooli Creek ?
